District Court Statement of Arrangements for child

Before making any application under the Guardianship of Infants Act to the District Court that will effect the welfare of your child you should complete a Statement of Arrangements*. You will be required to have this document completed and 3 copies with you when attend for your appointment time in Dublin / Cork / Limerick. In other District Court Offices you should have this document completed to help your application to be processed more quickly. Normally a copy is sent to the other side with the summons and there is a section for them to complete indicating that they agree with the content or a section to complete if they disagree with any of the information in the document. Depending on the District Court you may be asked to send a copy to the other side, make sure you check with the Court Clerk what is required.
