Hugh's journey in Family Law began when, as a lay litigant, he successfully litigated his own Judicial Separation and Divorce. He then commenced his studies at the Law Society of Ireland, where he earned his Diploma in Family Law. After completing his studies, he started working as a consultant, and over the time, he has helped countless people navigate the legal complexities of their cases.​

Hugh's expertise covers a wide range of Family Law matters in Ireland, including Judicial Separation, Divorce, Child Custody and Access, spousal support, and property disputes. His experience has taught him that each case is unique, and he works closely with clients to understand their individual needs and goals.

 

Hugh currently works in a consulting roll for a number of solicitors. Hugh is an Associate Member of the Family Lawyers Association of Ireland he is also a member of the Irish Institute of Legal Executives and the International Society of Family Law. Hugh's further studies have seen him achieve a Diploma in Legal Studies & Practice and a QQI award in Criminal Law.
